Job summary

CQ Medical is seeking a Production Technician - Layup on-site in Avondale, PA to build state-of-the-art couch tops for cancer treatment devices. You will work with a team to assemble composite parts, prepare molds, and ensure high-quality build quality.

The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and adherence to safety practices in a fast-paced medical device environment. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years’ experience in assembly, maintenance, manufacturing production, or related skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work under limited supervision.
• Must read and speak English to understand work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Build specific composite parts per specifications with minimal supervision.
• Assist in preparation of molds and forms.
• Mark and cut tape, woven material, honeycomb, adhesive per templates and dimensions.
• Fit and smooth layers to ensure wrinkle- and void-free buildup.
• Ensure parts meet final size, shape, and tolerance per standards.
• Identify quality issues and contribute to resolutions.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation.
