Job summary

Continental Plastic Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Technician/Back up Material Handler for the 1st shift (5:00 AM–3:00 PM, Mon–Thu). This role supports setup, operation, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of production machines to ensure quality output.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of machine operating experience, preferably in extrusion, with basic skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of machine operating experience.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Solid knowledge of machining processes and OSHA safety requirements.
• Ability to build positive team relationships and apply LEAN principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, clean, and perform preventive maintenance on machines.
• Set up and operate one or multiple production machines to ensure quality production and minimize stops.
• Check machine output and identify issues.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications.
• Inspect parts to specifications and adjust tools as needed.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and production orders.
