Job summary

Continental Plastic Corporation in Delavan, Wisconsin, is seeking a Production Technician for the 1st shift (5:00 AM–3:00 PM, Mon–Thu). You will set up, run, and troubleshoot extrusion machinery, monitor output, and perform preventive maintenance to keep lines running at full capacity.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with some machine experience, knowledge of machining principles, and basic MS Office skills. A focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Education, training, and experience equivalent to a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 months of machine operating experience in an industrial setting.
• Must understand machining principles and applicable safety/OSHA requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive team relationships and apply LEAN concepts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, clean, and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
• Set up and operate production machines per procedures to ensure quality production and minimize unplanned stops.
• Check machine output and identify issues, adjust settings as needed.
• Inspect parts to specifications and perform tool changes to maintain quality.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and production orders to complete tasks.
