Job summary

Cretex Medical in Minnesota is seeking a Production Technician to set up and operate manual and automatic punch presses and related equipment used to manufacture precision stamped components. This role inspects raw materials, work-in-process and finished parts for conformance to quality standards and customer expectations, adjusting the stamping process as needed.

The ideal candidate will work well in a team, read blueprints and work instructions, and mentor newer operators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience operating stamping/machining equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and GD&T basics.
• Strong teamwork and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, including stamping presses and related machinery.
• Input data into the job tracking software system and ensure correct programs are loaded.
• Load parts into fixtures for laser/press operations and verify accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machinery and investigate issues during production runs.
• Maintain Kanban, iSupply, and production plan levels; assist in packaging and inventory.
• Follow quality procedures and participate in ISO and medical device requirements.
