Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking a Production Technician to operate, monitor, and adjust a Kiefel machine, load production supplies, perform quality checks, and document manufacturing logs. You will help ensure on-time, quality product delivery in a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of production experience, basic math and English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.
• Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematics.
• Proficient in using a calculator and measurement tools (calipers, snap gauges, rulers) and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust a Kiefel machine using controls on an electrical control panel (HMI) or by making manual adjustments.
• Load and replenish production supplies at a rate consistent with production needs.
• Perform scheduled quality checks and disposition product; identify deviations and stop production if necessary.
• Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards are met.
• Load and secure finished product in mobile closets.
• Document required information on manufacturing logs and/or POMS system.
• Identify and address inefficiencies in machine performance.
