Responsibilities

• Assemble complex and/or custom compressor packages using hand tools.
• Install electrical and mechanical systems inside custom-engineered packages.
• Follow project drawings to assemble the complete package to meet customer specifications.
• Install wiring and control panels including various voltage systems.
• Interface with engineers to resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
• Diagnose issues related to reciprocating compressors.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

We are looking for a Production Mechanic specializing in electrical wiring. This position reports to the Production and Compliance Operations Manager in a stable, family‑oriented business.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of complex and/or custom compressor packages using hand tools, gantry crane and pallet jack
• Installation of electrical and mechanical systems inside custom-engineered container packages containing compressors
• Follow project drawings (blueprints and electrical schematics) to assemble the complete package to meet customer specifications
• Installation of wiring and control panels which includes but is not limited to 460V, 120V, 24VDC, transformers, motor starters, HMI’s and other wiring
• Interface with the production engineer and other internal customers to resolve electrical and mechanical issues on the production floor
• Mechanical troubleshooting – Diagnosis of issues related to reciprocating compressors
• Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to all safety and quality requirements
• Other duties as assigned
