Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Cutting Operator to set up, operate, and maintain die-cutting presses, transforming paperboard and substrates into high-quality packaging solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will perform off-press and on-press make-readies, follow detailed work instructions, inspect finished products for quality, troubleshoot issues, and work with teammates to meet production goals while upholding safety, organization, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with automated die-cutting, stripping, and carton blanking is a plus.

Description Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and ready to take your career to the next level in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join Green Bay Packaging as a Cutting Operator, where you'll play a key role in transforming raw materials into high-quality packaging solutions.

In this hands-on role, you'll set up, operate, and maintain state-of-the-art die-cutting machines to cut, crease, and shape paperboard and other substrates. You'll ensure precision, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production efficiency-all while contributing to a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both off-press and on-press make-readies with accuracy and efficiency
• Set up and operate die-cutting presses according to job specifications
• Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Collaborate with team members & management to meet production goals and deadlines
• Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Schedule

• Must be willing to work either
• 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm) after training.
• Training: Day shift (6am -2pm, Monday-Friday) for up to 120 days

Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required
