Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Cutting Operator to operate state-of-the-art die-cutting equipment, cut and crease packaging substrates, and ensure high quality output. You will follow procedures, inspect finished products, and work with a team dedicated to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include make-readies, machine setup, and troubleshooting, with training provided. Excellent attention to detail and basic computer skills are valued in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain equipment and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

In this hands-on role, you'll set up, operate, and maintain state-of-the-art die-cutting machines to cut, crease, and shape paperboard and other substrates. You'll ensure precision, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production efficiency - all while contributing to a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both off-press and on-press make-readies with accuracy and efficiency
• Set up and operate die-cutting presses according to job specifications
• Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Collaborate with team members & management to meet production goals and deadlines

Work Schedule

Must be willing to work either

• 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm) after training.

OR

• 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am) after training.

Training

Day shift (6am -2pm, Monday-Friday) for up to 120 days

Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required
