Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a press operator in Wisconsin to accurately set up and run die-cutting operations, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will work hands-on with pre-feeder and rotary press equipment, verify dies, and monitor output.

The role requires a high school diploma, good math and measurement skills, and the ability to multitask and communicate effectively with teammates. Overtime including Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up press, print, score, and die cut accurately per operating specs.
• Inspect all dies before and after a run to ensure repairs are made when needed.
• Ensure all bolts for the die cut cylinder are in place and secured.
• Monitor box quality, including liner, warp, size, die cut, and print accuracy.
• Become efficient in all machine aspects: pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, load former.
• Ink management and color adjustment (pH and viscosity).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Manually set up press, print, score, and die cut accurately in accordance with proper operating techniques and specs.
• Inspect all dies before and after a run to ensure any necessary repairs are made before the next run.
• Ensure all bolts for the die cut cylinder are in place and tightly secured.
• Monitor box quality including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, die cut, and print.
• Become efficient in all aspects of the machine - pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, load former.
• Ink management skills/color adjustment (PH and Viscosity).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
