Job summary

LGG INDUSTRIAL in Houston, TX seeks a Production Technician to support manufacturing and distribution tasks, including assembling orders, picking and shipping, and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires basic math, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and a lathe; weekend or night shifts may be required; a HS diploma or GED and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehousing or production experience.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Assemble products to standards and test as required by the customer and work instructions.
• Receive shipments, post to inventory, and prepare items for delivery or shipping.
• Operate mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts as applicable.
• Assist with physical inventory and support welders in daily orders.
