LGG INDUSTRIAL is seeking a Production Technician in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves preparing items for welding, post-weld processing, assembling and handling sales orders, and warehouse picking and shipping.

You will work in a production and warehouse setting with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. The position requires 1-3 years of related warehousing or production experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 years of related warehousing or production experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work nights and weekends, as required.
• Ability to work overtime, as required.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment as required or permitted by law).

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Prep items for welding and complete post-weld processing.
• Assemble products to company, customer and manufacturer’s standards.
• Perform all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction.
• Receive incoming shipments into inventory, post in online system and place items in warehouse.
• Pick product in warehouse and prepare items for delivery or shipping.
• Operate mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable).
• Assist with physical inventory.
• Make recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as trained and qualified for.
