Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience.
• Mechanical ability.
• Ability to read various dimensional metrology instruments.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
• Experience or ability with forklifts, hammers, hoists, jacks, ladders, screwdrivers, slings, tape measures, hand tools, measuring instruments, and power tools such as saws.
• Knowledge of mechanical machines, paint systems, and assembly operations.
• Ability to work in normal manufacturing environment conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery or assist machine operators.
• Examine products for conformance to quality standards.
• Observe equipment operations and report malfunctions.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or using hoists.
• Count finished products to determine order completion.
• Mark or tag identification on parts.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Supply or hold materials and tools for production workers.
• Clean work areas, equipment, doors, and frame components.
• Clean and lubricate equipment.
• Record product inspection counts and production dates and times.
• Perform other assigned tasks under supervision.
