Kelly Services is hiring a Production Technician at our premier manufacturing client in Sparta, TN. The role includes operating production equipment, performing forklift training, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Typical shifts are 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am with rotating 12-hour cycles. Candidates must lift up to 50 lbs, have a high school diploma or GED, and pass an online assessment within 24 hours of invitation.

Responsibilities

• Operating production equipment efficiently and safely with minimal supervision.

• Supporting production goals, maintaining accurate paperwork, and participating in team projects.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following all safety and operational procedures.
• Standing for sustained periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating forklifts and tow motors as needed.

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

Shift: 6am-6pm OR 6pm-6am

ROTATING SHIFTS: Worker will be working Sun., Wed., Thur. (36 hours – 12 hour shifts) one week. Rotate to Mon., Tue., Fri., Sat. (48 hours) the next week. 40 hours regular with 8 hours overtime. 12 hour shifts working from 6:00 to 18:00 and 18:00 to 06:00.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Can lift up to 50 lbs and have forklift experience (required)
• Are able to complete and pass an online assessment within 24 hours of invitation (required for consideration)
• Are available for rotating 12-hour shifts, including both days and nights, and flexible with required shift changes
• Have prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Possess strong teamwork, communication skills, and a willingness to support continuous improvement
• Are able to stand, walk, reach, balance, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions for sustained periods
