Job description

Join to apply for the Production Technician role at ICU Medical.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform machine and systems troubleshooting and repair; assist with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems.
2. Perform diagnostic checks on automated equipment; isolate problems including sensors, controllers, encoders, servomotors, and/or servo valves.
3. Make repairs to production equipment utilizing skills in controls, drawings, electrical, general mechanics, hand tools, hydraulics, machine shop, piping systems, pneumatics, and welding.
4. Complete shift start-up paperwork such as process parameters, traceability, and startup checklists.
5. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including all Level I required tasks as per MP.
6. Understand machine MO, PC, WP, STM, and Interim Specifications.
7. Perform changeovers, line clearance of components, and tooling changeouts.
8. Fill component hoppers and complete necessary traceability paperwork.
9. Pull inspection test samples and stage for QC Operator.
10. Engage in machine troubleshooting on all assigned stations, including bevel mold, pin & heater block changeout, and bevel trim adjustments.
11. Update hourly production boards with production and efficiency numbers; note issues like downtime, waste, or quality concerns.
12. Order components from the warehouse and pull tooling for changeovers.
13. Submit machine repair tags to identify issues requiring support services.
14. Perform all functions of a Team Operator when required.
15. Assist with training new Technicians and maintain 5S standards in work areas.
16. Model company values and support strategic initiatives.
17. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including occupational health and environmental regulations.
18. Engage others in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.
