Responsibilities include:
- Perform machine and systems troubleshooting and repair; assist with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems.
- Perform diagnostic checks on automated equipment; isolate problems including sensors, controllers, encoders, servomotors, and/or servo valves.
- Make repairs to production equipment utilizing skills in controls, drawings, electrical, general mechanics, hand tools, hydraulics, machine shop, piping systems, pneumatics, and welding.
- Complete shift start-up paperwork such as process parameters, traceability, and startup checklists.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including all Level I required tasks as per MP.
- Understand machine MO, PC, WP, STM, and Interim Specifications.
- Perform changeovers, line clearance of components, and tooling changeouts.
- Fill component hoppers and complete necessary traceability paperwork.
- Pull inspection test samples and stage for QC Operator.
- Engage in machine troubleshooting on all assigned stations, including bevel mold, pin & heater block changeout, and bevel trim adjustments.
- Update hourly production boards with production and efficiency numbers; note issues like downtime, waste, or quality concerns.
- Order components from the warehouse and pull tooling for changeovers.
- Submit machine repair tags to identify issues requiring support services.
- Perform all functions of a Team Operator when required.
- Assist with training new Technicians and maintain 5S standards in work areas.
- Model company values and support strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including occupational health and environmental regulations.
- Engage others in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.
