Description

The Production Technician performs manual tasks involving mechanical and electrical assembly and testing on assigned product lines. Responsibilities include painting, deburring, assembly, storage, and handling of materials. This is a first shift position from 7am-3:30pm.

What We’re Looking For

Recent assembly experience with blueprints and hand/power tools in a manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test products accurately.
  • Document and track materials and inventory.
  • Ensure proper packing, documentation, and delivery of shipped products.
  • Inspect products for damage or deterioration.
  • Perform quality analysis on manufactured parts.
  • Track inventory and prepare documentation.
  • Handle materials including crating, packing, and shipping using appropriate equipment.
  • Use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Adhere to company policies and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Attend work regularly and punctually.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
  • 1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Handle non-routine projects and tasks.
Physical and Technical Environment
  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds occasionally with proper techniques or assistance.
  • Stand, walk, bend, twist, climb, reach regularly.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and machine hazards.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Must be medically cleared to wear respirators, possibly requiring a clean-shaven face.
