Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking Production Technicians for the Shipping Department at Rockport Works. You will inspect packaging on arrival, prepare materials for shipment by truck or rail, and maintain accurate inventory locations to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities include loading outbound material according to loading specs, identifying materials, and performing other duties as assigned. A stable work record and willingness to rotate 4 on/4 off (12-hour) shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience or ability to demonstrate understanding for material flow and proper handling of Work in Process inventories.
• Must be willing and able to work rotating 4 on 4 off (12 hour) work schedule (days/nights/weekends/holidays).
• Must be willing and able to work in various environments including indoor atmosphere controlled and outside slag-based fields.

Responsabilités

• Visual inspection of material on arrival into department for damage.
• Package material according to specifications on the order.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations.
• Ensure storage facilities maintain the quality of product.
• Correct identification and storage of all inbound material.
• Load all outbound material, rail or truck, correctly and according to loading specifications supplied.
• Other duties as assigned.
