Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a production technician for 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am; training on 1st shift possibly required). Responsibilities include reading PMI/JSA, following detailed instructions, and maintaining inventory accuracy while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to perform basic math, and experience operating forklift and related equipment. Respirator use and basic MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and understand work instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Experience operating forklift, electric hoist, scales, and label machines.
  • Comfortable with standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, and use PMI’s, JSAs, and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks.
  • Support and participate in safety initiatives/policies as needed.
  • Follow detailed step-by-step instructions from supervisors.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy with basic math and organized workspace.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, completing tasks on-time while meeting safety and quality standards.
  • Operate machines, forklifts, and related equipment.

What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will read, understand, and useProduct Manufacturing Instructions (PMI’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA),and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks
  • Further you will support andparticipate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as businessneeds arise
  • You will follow step by step instructions detailed by senior operators in turnover reports, written job instructions, or verbal instructions
  • Additionally, you will ensure inventory accuracy by performing basic math and maintaining an organized workspace
  • You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to complete tasks on-time while meeting all safety and quality requirements
  • You will perform the operation of machines, fork trucks, and/or associated equipment

  • Youmust be able to wear a full face or half face respirator
  • Basic computer skills in MicrosoftSuite are preferred for this role
  • Required to work a 8-hour schedule Monday - Friday (02:00pm - 10:30pm); training may be required on first shift. Position may eventually go to 12hr shift in the future
