Job Summary

The Production Technician is responsible for the fabrication of high-quality Insulating Glass for Residential Window & Door Manufacturers.

Essential Functions

• Follow all Safety Practices and Guidelines
• Follow Cardinal Values and Culture of Integrity and Respect
• Operate High Tech Glass Fabrication Equipment
• Utilize pallet jack to move racks in/out of Sort Jet
• Manually load lites onto IG conveyor
• Attach channel to the edge of the coated glass
• Remove the glass from AGP during malfunctions
• Change preserve rolls on the Masker
• Move or position racks and A-frames for loading
• Remove rejects/rerun units from the sealer
• Inspect product for quality to meet or exceed expectations
• Seek out additional roles and responsibilities within your department
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Maintain strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail
• Be flexible to work overtime to meet deadlines
• Be aware of moving mechanical parts and sharp objects
• Expect noise levels to vary and possibly be high

Prior Experience

Consistent work history, preferably in manufacturing or warehousing, but not required

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk for long periods
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs
• Perform climbing, manipulation, reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and pinching tasks

Shift & Pay

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, $17.75/hour

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, $17.75 + $1.00 shift differential = $18.75/hour

Potential for monthly profit sharing across all shifts.
