Job Overview

Linde is seeking qualified applicants for the role of Production Technician, focusing on hydrogen and air separation processes. The technician must demonstrate initiative, be self-motivated, dependable, and work well within a team. This is a 12-hour shift position, alternating between nights and days, reporting to the Plant Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 environment.
• Start up and shut down equipment and processes.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and process parameters.
• Perform valve line-ups correctly.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Permit maintenance work safely and correctly.
• Operate the facility safely, reliably, and efficiently, exercising professional judgment.
• Develop procedures and train new employees.
• Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The technician should be able to troubleshoot basic issues and escalate problems when necessary.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of production operations experience or an Associate's Degree with an internship in plant operations.
• Interest and experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience with hand tools, meters, and calibration equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and motors.
• Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and work at heights.

Preferred:

• Higher education such as an Associate's Degree or above is preferred.
