Who You Are

We are hiring a Production Technician to join our Production Team in the Operations division of our Alameda Plant. In this role, you will work on the day shift to manufacture battery materials, operating production tools according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), verifying quality, and ensuring production targets are met.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Follow SOPs for preparing material and operating production equipment
• Visually inspect and ensure material meets quality specifications
• Accurately enter data into tracking systems
• Handle equipment that uses flammable gases
• Collaborate effectively with team members and foster a positive work environment
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Assess and improve processes continually
• Work overtime as required by the Production Manager

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of consistent experience as an operating technician in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to perform data collection, computer entry, and basic math
• Prioritize safety and report safety concerns
• High attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Dependable, positive team player, adaptable, and self-motivated
• Ability to obtain forklift certification

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Pass respirator fit test and wear respiratory protection as needed
• Wear PPE including lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe shoes
• Move items up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Work over long distances, remain stationary, reach low shelves, and enter confined spaces
• Operate computers and office equipment

Back-End Night Shift: Every other Wednesday, Thursday - Saturday, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

The starting pay range is $30/hr to $40/hr, depending on experience and skills. This role may be eligible for overtime and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Pay ranges are subject to change.
