Job summary

Conagra Brands in Centralia, Illinois, is seeking a Production Operator to support packaging, process, sanitation/quality assurance, and warehouse operations on the 3:45 PM–12:15 AM shift. You will help maintain throughput, quality and safety expectations while collaborating with line leads to keep production on schedule.

The role requires being able to perform physical tasks, work across shifts, and follow JES documents.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to support the production schedule.
• Know processes in department and operate equipment across functions.
• Partner with line leads for cross training and development.
• Follow JES documents for the assigned line.
• Participate in cleaning processes to designated times.
• Communicate with Line Lead and Maintenance to fix issues promptly.
• Participate in plant audits for the assigned area.
• Coordinate handoffs with other shifts and drive plant performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or Operations Manager.

Shift: 3:45 PM-12:15 AM

Hourly Rate: $21.25 an hour + $.50 shift differential

SCOPE OF POSITION:

This position is responsible for operating and supporting Production packaging and process, sanitation/quality assurance, and/or warehouse operations. This position is also responsible formaintainingthroughput, quality andsafetyexpectations in the performance of their duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operation of production assigned equipment to support the overall production schedule of assigned shift
• Knowledge of all processes in department or across departments and ability to operate equipment across functions
• Partner with the line leads to determine opportunities for cross training and development of the teams.
• Be capable of following all JES documents for job on assigned line
• Participate in class cleaning processes to meet the designated times with the resources that are provided.
• Communicate with Line Lead and Maintenance to ensure issues with assigned equipment are fixed in a timely manner
• Participation in all plant audits for assigned area
• Work with the other shifts to insure good handoffs and drive plant performance
• All other duties or projects as assigned by the shift supervisor or the Operations Manager
