At MKS Instruments in Andover, Minnesota, the Production Tech 2 role partners with the Andover production team and reports to the Supervisor. The job focuses on set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits and mechanical assemblies to meet specifications.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or equivalent training, 1+ year of related experience, and familiarity with testing digital/analog systems. Soldering skills and reading drawings are important.

Formación

• Associate degree, military technical training or equivalent vocational training is required.

Responsabilidades

• Set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Develop test specifications/procedures from drawings
• Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems
• May perform rework on assemblies and systems following testing
• Requires soldering and possibly mechanical aptitude
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions
• Assist in selection and setup of specialized test equipment
