Job summary

MKS Inc. is seeking a Production Tech 2 for the Andover area. You will partner with Andover Production and report to the Supervisor to support circuit, component and mechanical assembly testing and calibration.

Responsibilities include developing test specs from drawings, testing and troubleshooting, and performing rework as required. Soldering and mechanical aptitude are beneficial for the role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required.
• 1+ year of related experience is required.
• Must be current Temporary Employee at MKS doing the work of Production Tech 2.
• Experience in testing digital and/or analog systems is a plus.
• Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments is required.

• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Responsible for the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
• Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams
• Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems
• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
• Requires soldering skills and possibly mechanical aptitude skills
• As required, prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment

Skills You Bring:

• Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $18.89 - 31.40 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
