Job summary

Alabama Goodwill Industries is seeking a GGC Production Team Member to support donation sorting, pricing and stocking operations at the Center Point/Birmingham location. You will move donations from donor vehicles to sorting areas, classify items, and help place merchandise on the sales floor while delivering friendly customer service.

The role requires physical effort, accuracy in categorizing goods, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prefer knowledge of retail and stock handling.
• Prefer knowledge of popular brands, trends, books, electronics, antiques, and collectibles
• Able to perform basic math and maintain positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Transport donations to sorting station and classify as sellable, salvage or trash.
• Sort donations by category and price merchandise for the sales floor.
• Provide world-class customer service and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and ongoing donation flow.
