Job summary

Alabama Goodwill Industries in Scottsboro, AL is seeking a GGC Production Team Member to support donation processing and merchandising on a full-time/part-time basis.

Responsibilities include transporting donations, sorting into sellable, salvage, and trash, pricing merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while delivering customer service and meeting daily production counts.

Experience in retail or stock handling preferred.

Qualifications

• Prefer knowledge of retail or stock handling.
• Prefer knowledge of popular brands, trends, books, electronics, antiques, or collectibles.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Able to assess items for sale with good judgment.
• Positive, neat appearance and good listening skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Transport donations from donor vehicles to the donation sorting station.
• Process and sort donations into sellable, salvage, and trash categories.
• Price merchandise and sort apparel for floor display.
• Transport merchandise to sales floor staging areas and assist customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
