Production Team Member

Work Schedule:

New hires should expect to undergo initial training during the week before being assigned to a weekend schedule. Ability to work weekends is required.

Job Overview:

Employees will perform general production duties in a food-manufacturing environment, following strict product standards. Typical roles include arranging bacon, pressing pork bellies, hand packing on an assembly line, stacking finished cases, and rotating work assignments. The starting wage is $21.19 per hour with scheduled pay increases.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Perform all pre-operational safety inspections
• Ensure guards are in place at work stations
• Follow all Quality Production Specifications
• Follow PPE and GMP standards to ensure proper cleanliness
• Maintain high quality and yield results
• Arrange bacon drafts correctly onto product cards
• Place drafts onto conveyor/table accurately and promptly
• Downgrade drafts that do not meet quality standards
• Work as part of a team and assist others as needed
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Assist with rejects and downtime tasks
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervision
• Implement, maintain, and improve the Quality Risk Management Process (QRMP)

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for entire shift, excluding breaks
• Ability to work in refrigerated environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability for full-time, overtime, weekend, and 2nd shift work
• Preferred: 1 year of stable work history
• Required: 3 years manufacturing experience (or 6 months relevant experience in the last 12 months)
