Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a production associate to follow GMP, package, and portion raw materials to designated weights. The role operates in a fast-paced production environment and supports meeting performance targets.

You will transfer finished products and raw materials to identified locations, comply with safety rules including PPE, and perform other duties as needed on the production line in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Fork Lift/Pallet Jack Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to GMP, package, stuff or slice raw materials to designated weights on a per-package basis.
• Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Transfer finished products and raw materials to identified locations in plant/warehouse or production line.
• Adhere to safety requirements including wearing PPE as prescribed for each activity.
• Follow SQF principles as specified by the SQF Practitioner.
• Assist with any other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), package, stuff or slice, raw materials to designated weights on an individual package or case weight basis.
• Meet production performance requirements in a fast paced work environment.
• Transfers finished products and raw materials to identified location in the plant/warehouse or on production line. .
• Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as prescribed for each work activity or job.
• Follows all SQF principles pertinent to the position as specified by the SQF Practioner.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience required
• Fork Lift/Pallet Jack Certification is preferred but not required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
