Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. is seeking a production worker in Ohio to support our quick-to-table, farm-inspired manufacturing operations. You will adhere to GMP and SQF principles, assist with packaging and weighing, and move products along the line while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and wearing PPE as required. Prior food manufacturing experience is preferred; forklift/pallet jack certification is a plus in a

• Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience required.
• Fork Lift/Pallet Jack Certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SQF principles.
• Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Transfer finished products and raw materials to identified locations on the plant/warehouse or production line.
• Adhere to safety requirements including PPE as prescribed for each activity.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), package, stuff or slice, raw materials to designated weights on an individual package or case weight basis.
• Meet production performance requirements in a fast paced work environment.
• Transfers finished products and raw materials to identified location in the plant/warehouse or on production line. .
• Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as prescribed for each work activity or job.
• Follows all SQF principles pertinent to the position as specified by the SQF Practioner.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience required
• Fork Lift/Pallet Jack Certification is preferred but not required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
