Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. is seeking a full-time facility cleaning associate to support our production environment. The role requires strict adherence to cleanliness, safety, and GMP practices while performing daily sanitation tasks across assigned areas.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for long periods. This on-site position operates on a 6am–6pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.
• Ability to identify opportunities and solve problems.
• Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, lift 25-50 lbs daily and climb.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned area with attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Know chemicals and chemical safety for the cleaning agents used.
• Follow cleaning schedules and operate power washers, hoses, and other tools.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed.
• Set up equipment and supplies for the next day’s production.
• Report and scan materials into the company ERP system and ensure GMP compliance.
• Follow safety standards and report unsafe acts or injuries to the appropriate personnel.

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

2-2-3 schedule- Hours 6am - 6pm - DAYS

• Clean and sanitize assigned area, paying close attention to minor details of cleanliness and food safety
• Possess and acquire knowledge of chemicals and chemical safety for the cleaning chemicals that will be used in assigned area
• Can follow and execute cleaning schedules/requirements; utilizing power washers, hoses, small hand and power tools and other equipment
• Dissemble and reassembly of equipment, utilizing hand and power tools
• Set up equipment and supplies for the next day’s production
• Report and scan materials issued into the company’s ERP system
• Comply with applicable environment, health and safety rules, procedures, laws and accepted safe work and Good Manufacturing (GMP) practices
• Follow any and all safety standards
• Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and injuries to the appropriate person or office

WORKING CONDITIONS

Areas of facility may include controlled temperature zones including areas with refrigeration and noise levels requiring PPE.
