Cardinal is looking for candidates to join the Production Department at our Decatur manufacturing facility. This is an entry-level position, and all required training will be provided. Successful applicants will learn how to produce liquid and powder coatings for various applications.

Responsibilities:

• Safely prepare and operate the appropriate machinery
• Follow formula instructions
• Learn how to assemble raw materials
• Ensure bonding and grounding rules are followed
• Label containers correctly
• Fill solvent containers when necessary
• Operate a forklift
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor

Requirements:

• Ability to work closely with others
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 50-55 lbs repeatedly
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
• Follow instructions from supervisory personnel
