Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Team Leader I to support Production Leads and Supervisors in day-to-day operations, ensuring on-time delivery of products and services. You will train staff, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and oversee MRO inventories to minimize disruptions.

The role requires prior manufacturing experience, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (JD Edwards preferred). A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Has manufacturing experience and is a self-starter.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and interpret drawings and bills of materials.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably JD Edwards.
• Good verbal and written communication, organization and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading employees within an area of responsibility on processes and operations.
• Assist in training and development of production team members.
• Coordinate with operations and cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges.
• Manage MRO inventories and requisition shop supplies and tools.
• Support continuous improvement projects and document corrective actions.
• Investigate NCRs, research missing parts, cycle count inventory and resolve shortages.
• Communicate effectively across organization levels.
