Job summary

TPI Composites, Inc in Newton, MA is seeking a Production Team Leader to drive a safe, productive, and high-performing manufacturing environment. You will provide day-to-day leadership and coaching to production associates to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will serve as a subject matter expert in your area, promote continuous improvement, onboard new hires, conduct training, and collaborate with leadership to maintain standard work and meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial setting preferred.
• Prior leadership, team lead, mentoring, or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and model a culture of safety by supporting all company safety initiatives, policies, and procedures.
• Lead by example and reinforce TPI's core values of Safety, Operational Excellence, Commitment, Integrity, and Leadership.
• Serve as the technical and process expert within the assigned production area.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure standard work instructions and manufacturing processes are followed.
• Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and guidance to production associates to support performance and skill development.
• Coordinate and support new hire onboarding activities, ensuring successful integration into the team and work environment.
• Conduct and document training activities to ensure associates are properly trained and qualified for tasks.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Assist with staffing coverage by performing production tasks as needed to support operational requirements and maintain production schedules.
• Perform audits, inspections, and quality checks to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
• Communicate production issues, safety concerns, training needs, and performance observations to supervisors and leadership.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement and development.
