Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2-3 years of Manufacturing experience and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day team operations ensuring effective communication.
• Participates in production meetings communicating daily goals/objectives/priorities to the team.
• Facilitates team problem solving and decision making related to production’s daily objectives.
• Assists direct reports in the implementation and administration of policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot production problems with team members.
• Responsible for start-up and shut down of the operation.
• Inspect equipment for cleanliness before new product start-ups.
• Coordinates with other departments ensuring undisrupted flow of operation.
• Maintains clean equipment before, during, and after production.
• Observe employees to ensure safe work practices are followed and documented.
• Ensure workers use protective equipment.
• Responsible for the coordination and training of new staff members.
• Ensures safety and environmental policies are followed.
• Handle hazardous materials and/or hazardous waste (Liquid).
