Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator at our Cleveland, OH facility. You will support safe, efficient, and high‑quality production of liquid coatings and surface treatment chemicals.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients per SOPs, operating/maintaining equipment, recording quality data, and ensuring safe waste handling. A high school diploma and 2 years manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to pass a basic math test.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients using appropriate forms and SOPs to determine batch amounts and equipment needs.
• Operate, stage, and maintain manufacturing equipment per posted conditions, including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly.
• Record data on batch tickets, equipment logs, and quality testing results; complete required quality checks.
• Fill and secure mixed products into designated containers and move them to the warehouse staging area.
• Communicate issues to the team leader or supervisor and attend required training.
• Handle hazardous and general liquid waste properly, ensuring containers are labeled, covered, and staged; report accidents or issues promptly.
