Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. is seeking a Production Operator at our Cleveland, OH facility to support safe, efficient production of liquid coatings and related chemicals. You will follow SOPs, operate and maintain equipment, and record data accurately to ensure quality.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, pass a basic math test, and bring 2+ years of manufacturing experience. Lift up to 50 lbs and handle drums up to 440 lbs as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to pass a basic math test.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling drums up to 440 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients using SOPs to determine batch amounts and equipment needs.
• Operate, stage, and maintain manufacturing equipment per posted conditions.
• Record data on batch tickets, logs and quality tests; complete required checks.
• Fill and secure products into containers and move to warehouse staging area.
• Report issues to team leader or supervisor and attend required training.
• Handle hazardous and general liquid waste; ensure proper labeling and staging.
