Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred technical certificates and some supervisory experience. internal advancement to a supervisor role is possible; external experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical certificate preferred.
• 6 months as Production Technician I in Front to Back End area.
• 1-year Team Lead or Supervisory experience.
• Production Supervisor recommendation required.
• Associate degree or technical certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures and housekeeping.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment to meet quality and productivity levels.
• Complete training in the required timeframe.
• Provide on-the-job training or coordinate training for team members.
• Lead team on job assignments and support issue resolution.
• Perform maintenance on equipment using hand tools and instrumentation.
• Operate forklift with proper training when required.
• Interface with equipment computers to monitor parameters and alarms.
• Monitor process data (including SPC) and make decisions to maintain process control.
• Escalate conditions and communicate issues/recommendations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to run approved tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on problem solving.
