Job summary

Toyoda Gosei Americas in Lebanon, KY seeks a full-time Lead Operator to support production lines. You will perform pre- and post-shift checks, ensure equipment readiness, and schedule production while covering for supervisors when absent.

You will lead problem solving, train new employees, and address quality issues within the shift. You will maintain knowledge of all production processes, perform first/middle/last piece quality checks, and ensure standardized work training with EMS compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of Toyota Production System and Kanban is required.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills are essential.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus and helpful for equipment checks.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-shift and post-shift checks.
• Equipment readiness prior to shift.
• Schedules production.
• Covers for supervisors/employees when absent.
• Lead problem solving activities.
• Has knowledge of all production processes/products.
• Trains new employees.
• Respond to quality issues within shift.
• Perform quality checks (first, middle and last piece checks)
• Standardized work training and verification.
• Ensure 2S1F rules are followed.
• Maintain EMS awareness and training; minimize environmental impact.
