Job summary

Tg Missouri Corporation in the United States is seeking a Lead Operator for our manufacturing team. You will perform pre- and post-shift checks, ensure equipment readiness, and cover for others as needed, while leading problem solving and ensuring 2S1F rules are followed.

You will bring knowledge of Toyota Production System, Kanban, and strong organizational skills. 1 year lead/operator experience or equivalent manufacturing background is required.

Qualifications

• Adheres to company rules and policies and maintains good attendance.
• Basic leadership skills are expected to guide teams.
• Knowledge of Toyota Production System and Kanban is required.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication is needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-shift and post-shift checks.
• Equipment readiness prior to shift.
• Covers for supervisors/employees when absent.
• Lead problem solving activities.
• Has knowledge of all production processes/products.
• Respond to quality issues within shift.
• Perform quality checks (first, middle and last piece checks).
• Standardized work training and verification.
• Ensure 2S1F rules are followed.
• Attend EMS training and minimize environmental impact.
