Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking an Assistant Production Manager in Columbus, Ohio to direct, coordinate, and evaluate the Production department. This role includes training staff, planning, assigning, and directing work while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent with at least four years of manufacturing experience and two or more years of supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises production activities to ensure that manufactured products meet or exceed all requirements.
• Determines manufacturing priorities based on established production schedules.
• Interprets specifications and makes judgment about the acceptability of production that is in process.
• Implements safety programs to ensure the safety of individuals working in the area.
• Assures product quality.
• Assists individuals in problem solving and exercises considerable judgment.
• Directs routine equipment maintenance and setup.
• Confers with other supervisory personnel to coordinate activities within the plant.
• Reports machine and equipment malfunction and takes proper action.
• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Follows production schedules and estimates work hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Established or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists in solving work problems.
