Job summary

Ground Effects LLC is seeking a Production Lead to oversee a dedicated production team on the shop floor. The role focuses on directing daily activities, guiding associates, and ensuring adherence to procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities include conducting product audits, maintaining quality records, and enforcing safety and housekeeping on the production floor, with flexibility for other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a production-oriented environment.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills preferred.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver's license.
• Familiar with IATF 16949/ISO14001 requirements.
• Strong organization, communication, and computer skills.
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production and guide associates with a hands-on leadership approach.
• Be visibly engaged on the production floor to support continuous improvement and training.
• Perform audits on products and ensure quality records are completed and properly filed.
• Ensure nonconforming material is handled per procedures.
• Enforce safety, housekeeping, and conduct rules; report incidents as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
