Job summary

OBE is seeking a Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing activities, bridging management and production staff to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output. You will guide workflow, monitor performance, and resolve issues to meet deadlines.

Lead and mentor the team, coordinate resource allocation, and uphold safety and quality standards while maintaining accurate production records and training new staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degrees preferred.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Counsel, mentor, coach, and develop employees.
• Coordinate production workflow and move resources as needed.
• Communicate across shifts for proper handoffs.
• Ensure crew members are prepared with required PPE.
• Enforce company guidelines, safety, and quality.
• Make quick staffing decisions to meet product requirements.
• Perform daily quality checks.
• Cross-train to operate all equipment and cover positions.
• Train employees on processes and safety to standards.
• Notify management of equipment malfunctions and safety issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and report issues.
• Assist onboarding and training of new team members.
• Address production delays and staffing challenges promptly.
