A Graveyard Production Team Lead position is available in Tacoma, Washington at Milgard Windows and Doors, within our Internal Supply Vinyl building. This role involves overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring quality standards, and supporting team members. The position requires mechanical aptitude and proficiency with measuring tools.

This position involves 12-hour shifts starting at 6:00 p.m. on a rotating schedule. Compensation ranges from $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential.

MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors, and PGT Industries, is one of the largest vinyl window and patio door suppliers in the nation, with manufacturing plants nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Oversee departmental activities according to standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with the Shift Supervisor to assign and supervise personnel for efficient operations.
• Assist in managing manufacturing orders to ensure proper completion and documentation.
• Help analyze and resolve work-related problems in accordance with SOPs.
• Ensure smooth changeover between shifts.
• Demonstrate Milgard’s Core Values in all interactions.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Follow all safety policies, including wearing required PPE.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience mentoring and motivating a team.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
