Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a capable supervisor to lead a factory department, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient production. The role includes directing assemblers, machinists, and shipping staff, while enforcing ISO standards and driving continuous improvement.

You will train team members, manage daily tasks, interpret metrics, and collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and HR to meet department goals in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related factory experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to write reports in English.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• ISO quality standards knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety regulations and maintain ISO 9001/14001 compliance.
• Determine daily department requirements with planning tools and production manager.
• Provide training to meet department needs.
• Supervise assemblers, machinists, and shipping personnel.
• Track daily performance with charts and metrics.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and HR.
