Job summary

Celestica Northlake, TX is seeking a Production Team Leader 2 to oversee daily manufacturing operations, drive on-time production, and manage resources. You will lead a diverse team, coach staff, and coordinate with planning, logistics and quality to ensure targets are met.

The role requires strong knowledge of production processes, hands-on leadership, and the ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a dynamic environment. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams.
• Knowledge of production processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinates inputs and resources to achieve on-time production.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the production process.
• Manage controllable operating expenditure (e.g., scrap, consumables).
• Lead, train and motivate a diverse team to meet targets for quality, output and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external customers.
• Conduct return-to-work interviews and first-level disciplinary hearings in a timely, consistent manner.
