Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience as a Shift Leader or similar role in retail is preferred.
• Experience creating shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in coordinating activities of workers engaged in product assembly.
• Check production schedules, specifications, and priorities to plan departmental work assignments.
• Designate duties of assembly workers and lead department activities.
• Revise work assignments as priorities change.
• Explain and demonstrate assembly line procedures and techniques to workers.
• Interpret specifications and work orders for workers.
• Requisition, obtain, and distribute supplies and materials.
• Assist workers in resolving technical problems and advise supervisor of complex production issues.
• Read, prepare, collect, and maintain reports such as production and attendance records.
