Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience: 2–4 years of supervisory experience and 3–7 years of production experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• Proficient knowledge of Shop Track, Infor (CSI), or SAP in addition to Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate, train, and lead others effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily scheduling, job delegation, and execution by leading a team of hourly employees.
• Interpret and communicate work orders, drawings, and production requirements.
• Set daily output expectations and track estimated vs. actual hours.
• Manage shop floor inventory and reduce rework.
• Optimize fabrication/assembly methods for efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with leadership to align goals and maximize output.
• Promote and enforce safety practices and company standards.
• Foster a team-based approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Ensure employee performance meets expectations through direct supervision and shop floor presence.
