Job summary

FMC Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Inventory Analyst to optimize production planning, master data governance, and inventory control within its Illinois facilities. You will analyze variances, support cost accounting, and collaborate across Operations to improve data integrity and performance.

The role requires five years in manufacturing or related fields, SAP knowledge, and strong data analysis skills. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, production control, inventory management, supply chain, or related operational environments.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing operational data, resolving process issues, and supporting business decision‑making.
• SAP knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Administers and oversees the execution of production process orders, ensuring accurate recording of finished goods and consumption.
• Analyzes process order cost variances and production performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Serves as a system owner for master data processes, including product records, workflows, and system configurations.
• Evaluates existing business processes and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
• Performs Material Usage Variance (MUV) analysis and supports inventory control objectives.
• Administers the SAP Cycle Count Program and coordinates with Cost Accounting and Operations leadership.
