Job summary

Meta seeks a Production Systems Engineer for the RTP team to oversee end-to-end hardware lifecycle of Meta servers, from prototyping to production validation and stress testing. You will work with HW/SW co-design, hardware designers, and data center operations to deploy new systems in production data centers.

You will design test plans, drive vendor resolutions, and implement hardware health dashboards, focusing on RAS and robust error handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of work experience in ASIC development, compute, AI-ML hardware/software, storage, memory, or related server interconnect technologies.
• Experience with Python, C/C++, and Linux environments for server system management, automation, or CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end system validation and deployment for compute and storage hardware platforms.
• Drive hardware fault management and error reporting to improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware/vendor teams to resolve production issues.
