Job summary

Mission Critical Group in Mississippi is seeking a Production Support Technician to assist Blast and Brake Forming areas. You will move materials, stock, organize, and support machine operators while maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment.

The role emphasizes ownership, proactive problem solving, and teamwork to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime. Monday–Friday schedule aligns with early morning shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing support role
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Basic math and inventory skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver raw materials and components to Blast and Brake forming operators as needed
• Remove finished or processed materials from workstations and relocate to the appropriate areas
• Transport work sections between staging areas and active workstations
• Organize and maintain staging areas with clear job number identification
• Clean and clear workstations of debris, preparing them for the next cycle or process
• Ability to read and understand work orders, production tags, labels, and basic schematics
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description

The Production Support Technician willbe responsible forsupporting the Blast and Brake Forming areas. This rolewillprovide safe andtimelymovement, storage, and organization of materials throughout the productionfloor to support maximized efficiency and reduce downtime for machine operators. This role requiresasafety-firstmindset, with strict adherence to all safety protocols and a proactive approach tomaintainingaclean,organized, and hazard-free work environment. The Production Support Techniciandemonstratesstrongownershipmentality, taking full responsibility for their work area,anticipatingteam needs, and contributing to continuousimprovement and overall production flow.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 5am to 1:30pm

Physical Requirements:

• Typical of a Manufacturing/Warehouse floor. May be cold in winter, warm in summer. Noise level commensurate with machine operation, fork trucks, general industrial activity.
• Possess basic tools including gear wrenches, impact gun, torque wrenches, metric & standard sockets.
• Prolonged periods of standing, squatting, kneeling may be necessary. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to read, understand basic schematic/ blueprint. Must be able to communicate effectively using phones or computer software.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
• Must be able to travel between MCG locations as needed, some travel could require overnight stays.
