Mission Critical Group is hiring a Production Support Technician to assist in Blast and Brake forming, moving materials, and keeping the production floor organized and safe. You will support operators, track work orders, and help minimize downtime through efficient material handling.

The role requires 1+ years in a material handling or manufacturing support setting, a forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one), basic math and inventory skills, and strong attention to detail.

• Clean and clear workstations of debris, preparing them for the next cycle or process.

Job Description

The Production Support Technician will be responsible for supporting the Blast and Brake Forming areas. This role will provide safe and timely movement, storage, and organization of materials throughout the production floor to support maximized efficiency and reduce downtime for machine operators. This role requires a safety-first mindset, with strict adherence to all safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. The Production Support Technician demonstrates strong ownership mentality, taking full responsibility for their work area, anticipating team needs, and contributing to continuous improvement and overall production flow.

Accountabilities

• Deliver raw materials and components to Blast and Brake forming operators as needed
• Remove finished or processed materials from workstations and relocate to the appropriate areas

• Organize and maintain staging areas with clear job number identification
• Clean and clear workstations of debris, preparing them for the next cycle or process
• Ability to read and understand work orders, production tags, labels, and basic schematics
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Typical of a Manufacturing/Warehouse floor. May be cold in winter, warm in summer. Noise level commensurate with machine operation, fork trucks, general industrial activity.
• Possess basic tools including gear wrenches, impact gun, torque wrenches, metric & standard sockets.
• Prolonged periods of standing, squatting, kneeling may be necessary. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to read, understand basic schematic/ blueprint. Must be able to communicate effectively using phones or computer software.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
• Must be able to travel between MCG locations as needed, some travel could require overnight stays.
